The day came from a rumor turned reality in the Portland Timbers offseason. The departure of Alva’s Powell to Queen City and newcomer FC Cincinnati is official. The Portland Timbers will receive the sum of $250000 dollars in General Allocation Money plus a percentage of any transfer fees if the player goes out of MLS and is international transfer.
Since 2013 when the Jamaican international accumulated, 121 games played, 112 starts, and six goals scored accumulating a total of 9937 minutes. The man during his time with the Rose City squad he won the MLS Shield and two times the Western conference trophy in 2015, 2018, and one Cascadia Cup in 2017. Adding a total of 11 games played in the postseason and six starts in 2015 adding a total of 871 minutes, with a start in 2018 and a substitution.
A huge contributor in the backfield and displaying a dynamic game as a defender and big contributor to the Portland attack. This 2018 he scored two goals as well being a vital part of Giovanni Savarese game plan; unfortunately, he sustained some injuries missing a number of matches.
