Less than 10,000 Tickets Remaining at Alamodome

CHICAGO (Feb. 11, 2015) – The U.S. Men’s National Team will be playing in front of a record crowd for soccer in San Antonio on April 15 for USA-Mexico, Presented by AT&T.

The match at the Alamodome has already sold 55,000 tickets, surpassing the previous San Antonio record of 54,313 who watched Mexico defeat Korea Republic 4-0 on Jan. 29, 2014.

Less than 10,000 tickets remain in the stadium with a capacity of 65,000.

The game in San Antonio marks the first time that that USA and Mexico have met on the soccer field in the River City. The most recent friendly between the regional rivals resulted in a 2-2 draw in front of 59,066 fans on April 2, 2014, at University of Phoenix Stadium in Glendale, Arizona.
