Foxborough, MA – The New England Revolution have officially announced their fixtures for the 2024 MLS Campaign.
The Revolution will compete in 34 MLS regular season games.
The New England Revolution will open their 2024 Major League Soccer campaign for the 29th consecutive season on the road. They have never opened their season with a home game.
New England’s MLS schedule will feature 28 Eastern Conference Matches. They will face each of the 14 Eastern Conference opponents twice. (Atlanta United FC, Charlotte FC, Chicago Fire FC, Columbus Crew, D.C. United, FC Cincinnati, Inter Miami CF, CF Montréal, Nashville SC, New York City FC, New York Red Bulls, Orlando City SC, Philadelphia Union and Toronto FC).
New England’s MLS schedule will also feature six matches versus Western Conference Opponents. (Vancouver Whitecaps FC, Seattle Sounders, FC Dallas, Real Salt Lake, St. Louis City SC, and Houston Dynamo FC).
Key matches for New England’s 2024 campaign are HOME on Sunday, March 17th and AWAY on Saturday, June 22nd versus Supporter Shield Winners FC Cincinatti, HOME on Saturday, June 29th and AWAY on Wednesday, May 29th against reigning MLS Cup Winners Columbus Crew, and two matches slated versus Lionel Messi, Sergio Busquets, Jordi Alba, Luis Suárez, and Inter Miami CF HOME on Saturday, April 27th and AWAY on DECISION DAY on Saturday, October 19th.
Along with the MLS Schedule release, the New England Revolution will be competing in the 2024 Concacaf Champions Cup. The Round of 32, two-legged contest versus Panamanian side Club Atlético Independiente de La Chorrera is set to take place on Wednesday, February 21st (8:00p.m. EST) and Thursday, February 29th (8:15p.m. EST). The Winner of the contest is set to face Liga Deportiva Alajuelense of Costa Rica.
Along with the MLS Schedule drop and Concacaf Champions Cup schedule, New England will compete in Leagues Cup 2024. This competition is set to take place on Friday, July 26th with the final set to take place on Sunday, August 25th.
Other key dates for the 2024 campaign include the 2024 MLS All-Star Game, which is slated for Wednesday, July 24th at Lower.com Field, home of the Columbus Crew.
Decision Day for the 2024 MLS Regular Season will take place on Saturday, October 19th.
The 2024 MLS Cup Final is scheduled for Saturday, December 7th.
With Caleb Porter named as the New England Revolution’s new Head Coach, the Revolution can now look to prepare before the start of their 2024 MLS campaign. Preseason is set to begin on Saturday, January 13th when players report to the Revolution Training Center for entrance physicals and testing. They kick off training on January 15th and are set to travel to IMG Academy in Bradenton, Florida on Sunday, January 21st for multiple weeks of preseason in preparation for their 2024 campaign.
