FOXBOROUGH, MA– The New England Revolution have concluded their preseason in Florida and are set to travel to Panama to face Club Atlético Independiente de La Chorrera of Panama in the Concacaf Champions Cup.

On January 24th, the team’s first match at IMG Academy resulted in a 3-0 loss versus the New York Red Bulls.

Their second match one week later on February 1st at IMG Academy resulted in a 2-0 loss v reigning supporter shield winners FC Cincinnati. This match was split into 4 different 30-minute halves.
And that's a 2-0 victory over New England!

Their third match on February 10th at Al Lang Stadium (home of USL Championship side Tampa Bay Rowdies) resulted in a 3-1 loss versus Orlando City SC. Midfielder Matt Polster scored the lone Revolution goal.

Their fourth match on February 14th at Joe DiMaggio Sports Complex in Clearwater resulted in a 0-0 draw to the Philadelphia Union. This was the only live streamed match throughout all of preseason and showcased the new “Boston Tea Party Kit”.

The following day, the Revolution appeared in their fifth and final match preseason match on February 15th at TBC (USA). The match was against FC Cincinatti for the second time this preseason. It ended in a 5-2 defeat. The first goal of the match was an FC Cincinnati own goal and midfielder Jack Panayotou scored a left-footed curler.

The Revolution finished preseason with a record of 0 wins, 4 losses and 1 draw. They were outscored by the opposition 13-3.
The Revolution are set to open their 2023 campaign on February 21st when the squad takes on Club Atlético Independiente de La Chorrera of Panama in the Concacaf Champions Cup.
